Q: How can I download and apply the wallpaper?
A: Just click on the little thumbnails of the picture you like. Once the full wallpaper is loaded, rightclick on the picture and select 'Set as Wallpaper'.
Q: Why does Nitemare Performance have the wallpapers in two resolutions?
A: Nitemare Performance has provided the wallpapers in sizes to match the two most commonly used desktop settings 1024 X 768, and  800 X 600. To find what settings you are running, and or to change your settings follow the instructions below.

To change your monitor pixel settings, or to check your display settings follow the following instructions (print if necessary) :-

Double click "My Computer"
Double click "control panel"
Double click "Display"
Select "Settings" tab by single click
Select "high color (16 bit color)" for the colors setting (or better)
Select 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768 for the screen area setting.
Click "Apply" then "OK"

Then when windows resizes your desktop agree to keeping the new settings or your old settings will be restored in 15 seconds.

If you jot down your old settings BEFORE changing them (800 X 600 and 16 bit color (high color) are the most common) you can return to your old settings using the above procedure later.
Note:- When you select the color settings from the drop down menu in the display settings window that "16 colors" and "16 bit color" are different (the first is only 16 colors (cartoon like) the second is 2 to the power 16 colors or approx 65000 colours).
Higher colour settings such as 32bit or 24 bit color may slow your computer and possibly restrict the maximum screen area you can select, possibly to below the desired 1024 X 768 pixels, and you'll probably not be able to see an improvement over 16 bit. These restrictions depend on the quality of your video card and possibly your display.
Q: Why don't you have more wallpaper?
A: If enough people ask Nitemare Performance will add more.
